My Philips GoGear Connect was under 95 bucks and has the Audible app. So as long as you have copy protected content to play be sure your player can do that.

I always prefer to take the help of professionals conversion specialist to avoid any loss of data and to avoid further any problem.

I lear it from an exper may it help you.

In order to convert the files to a DRM-free MP3 format, one must import the .AA files into iTunes, create an audio CD and subsequently re-import the files off the CD using iTunes built-in MP3 encoder. It is a bit of a run around, but it gets the job done.

I think the difficulty in converting audible audio files into MP3 format has been deliberately created so that the audio files are protected and cannot be copied.
