Whilst watching tv I noticed some strange vertical lines appearing from the brighter parts of the image, running the whole length top to bottom of the screen, tried different inputs going from scart to hdmi and had the same problem, even on the tv's own setup menu.
Tried turning the tv off and on again and ended up with no picture at all and a very worrying screen, took a photo of it here: photo
The Tv itself is well out of warranty, probably about 5 years old now, I'm wondering if its just reached the end of its life or could it be something salvageable? Money being tight right now a "cheap" fix would be great instead of having to pay a few hundred for a repair or new tv.
