FYI on Amazon Video App for Smart TV's

by Austin-K / December 13, 2011 1:43 PM PST

This is an FYI for anyone with a Smart TV. Even though a new modern up-to-date Smart TV has an Amazon Video app, if the exact TV model is not listed on Amazon's compatible TV's, it will never get setup with your Amazon account. You need to contact Amazon support and voice your gripe and they may get your model in the list of systems that work with it in a few weeks/months. If your system is not listed, stop there. You may still be able to view the streaming movies in the browser if your system has that. Otherwise you are in soup.
