Question

Found some old spy cameras from ww2, are they worth anything

by TheX09 / May 30, 2011 3:28 PM PDT

Hello everyone. This is my first post on here and it looks like a very informative forum so i was going to see if anyone could help me out a little bit. My grandmother passed away a month ago. She raised me and was basically my mother so its a giant loss for me Sad But anyways, along with numerous stuff i found, I found this box of cameras. At first it looked like you put them all together to make a big old school camera. But when i started opening things up, each one had an individual brand and model. Ive been doing some research the passed couple days and i cant find much besides that they were old spy cameras used in ww2. They were my great grandfathers and he was a colonel during the war. He went from country to country fighting and im sure he used them because there is even a bunch of film with the cameras! Very interested to see what on the film. Basically what im asking here is for somebody to guide me in the right direction. I really would like to keep them, but me and my father are in dire need of some cash. What should i do with them? I think the ideal answer would be to sell them individually on ebay but i feel like somebody would like to buy everything. Maybe a museum? Im not sure... Alrighty well thanks guys hopefully you can help me out. I super appreciate it. Heres my photobucket account with pictures of everything I have. http://s51.photobucket.com/albums/f368/CKYGuy09/Mini%20Cameras/

Thanks again!

spy camera are good for care.

I think you should use these cameras for your safety purpose, like you can keep it now or may be think of using it in future. I don't see any wrong thing in owning spy cameras as everyone has their own privacy or safety precautions.
