by gord55 / March 19, 2007 10:49 AM PDT

Is there anyway around this. Do I need to run the setup software again?

is username: Admin password: password unless you changed it.

If you changed it and do NOT remember, you'll have to reset the router and start over.

And since there are no less than 3 IP addresses that can change, which one are you asking about?

The internet IP, your LAN IP, the PC's LAN IP or the router LAN IP?

That should be explained in the user manual. A rather common is that very small hole in the pack you put a paperclip in and press.

If you followed the reset instructions for this router in post 4 and you didn't tell if you read the manual for the name and password to use after the reset.

The dlink site has the manual. While the use of the reset button is well known and easy, I have to download and read the manual for the default name and password.

I think you are asking me to download and read the manual but am not sure.
