Question

Firefox Browser Add In Required??

by JessGless / October 16, 2012 1:07 AM PDT

HI: I have a Mac Mini using Mac OX X 10.6.8 with 4 GB Ram and has Firefox Ver. 15.0.1 just updated this morning.

I have a problem with graphics displaying in the browser and could not find settings to change. I am running Add-Ins: ShockWave Flash and Quicktime and have the Java Applet installed.

I hit a page on Amazon this morning and everything displayed O.K. until I clicked on a link and the graphics came showing a broken link. But, that reminded me that graphics and some text do not display properly on this Browser - and haven't for about 6 months. SOME graphics only - I can click on a link in the top of the Browser page and get to download, which is a pane, but others will not display at all.

Does anyone have a solution that I might try - to see if I can get graphics to automatically download and display?

Browsers

It has been a very long time since I even opened IE and it just hung up when I did open it. Probably needs updated.

Savari I had no problem with. But, I also usually do not use that browser either.

Chrome I don't have and don't want to download it either.

In reply to: Browsers

Safari seems to be what you should be using if there are no problems with it.

If you don't want Chrome, fine. Don't download it.

Completely remove ALL pieces of Firefox, which appears to be your problem
