FF Autocomplete won't turn off

by dontbotherme / January 3, 2005 5:44 AM PST

O.K. I've googled this on several different occassions, but still can't find an answer.

While I have been a happy FF user since June, I WOULD like to know how to totally turn off the address bar "autocomplete" in Firefox 1.0

Yes, I have unchecked the saved forms box under tools>privacy. That works fine for future sessions, after shutting down FF and then reopening, but it does not stop autocomplete from working during the current session.

Is there a way to do this?

Aye, thanks for the reply, but not a help. Guess I'll live with it for now. Sad
