I bought an external hard disk last year, Extreme 2.5" enclosure with 80GB, following all the instructions: format, partition etc. It worked quite well, considering I had to install USB2, for it to work. Now I've bought a new PC (Olidata) with windows xp home edition and service pack 2. My ext Hard disk shows up in My computer as a local disk E: but I can't read or access it any longer. I have an error message which tells me that i cannot access E: and parametre incorrect.. What can I do to be able to read/write this HD?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me solve this problem.
