EXC_BREAKPOINT and Dyld Error Message

by harbringerxv8 / November 19, 2012 1:00 AM PST

Hi everyone, I inherited a Mac OSX 10.5.8 and ran into this error while trying to run a program. The program installed correctly (I think), runs for about 30 seconds, then crashes with the following report:

Process: SFR3G [102]
Path: /Applications/
Version: 1.3r27 (1.3r27)
Code Type: X86-64 (Native)
Parent Process: launchd [73]

OS Version: Mac OS X 10.5.8 (9L31a)
Report Version: 6
Anonymous UUID: 29C661FC-A018-4B56-B54D-6BE1DB5196BB

Exception Codes: 0x0000000000000002, 0x0000000000000000
Crashed Thread: 0

Dyld Error Message:
Symbol not found: _SCPreferencesCreate
Referenced from: /Applications/
Expected in: /System/Library/Frameworks/IOKit.framework/Versions/A/IOKit

The program is a French mobile internet program (I'm overseas atm). I'm also completely Mac illiterate, so I'm completely at a loss. Most other programs work fine, so I'm wondering if it's an issue with my computer or with the program itself.

Thanks in advance guys!
