Will any dvd player play dual-layer dvds?

Probably, my $20 LG one does

I've only burned dual layer ones on one PC, but my 2-3 year old LG DVD/CD drive burns them, and it only cost $20. I will caution you to use a slow speed though because those dual layer discs are much more prone to errors if you let your software try to determine the speed. This is the voice of experience. Mischief

Correction - you asked about PLAYERS, not BURNERS

My prior answer was regarding DVD burners, not players. Sorry I misread your post. I think I've read that most DVD players outside of computers DON'T play dual layer discs.

The only problem I've encountered are a few decade+ old DVD players as well as folk the created their own dual layer Video DVD.
