Question

downloaded windows tweaker 7, now cant sign on to pc at all.

start up only shows guest login, but when click, it says cant load. please help!! winows 7 pro, microsoft office pro 2007

Hope this works.

Try booting to SAFE MODE and see if any other accounts show up.

And try the old control alt delete to see if you can get the login to show (the old fashioned one.)

Sure hope you had a backup. Taking shotguns (tweakers) to the OS is pretty dangerous.

Bob, thanks for your reply. I tried all of that no luck...couldnt even get my backup to run........wouldnt boot in safe mode, wouldnt boot into any thing, except as it wanted to....weird...kept trying and trying, and finally got it to boot to a previous good setting...had to try this a lot of times to get it to let me choose what date i wanted...i wont be using tweaker 7....or anyother thing like that again... thank you so much for you help...this "fee" ware almost cost me expensive computer repair.....still need to uninstall it...was so tired by the time i got this silly Dell to let me go where i asked to...i just went to sleep.

This sounds like you found a few more doors to try to get back in.

I'm not saying all tweakers are bad but unless we have a recovery plan if the tweaker breaks the OS, it's best to ignore that title and get our files and system safely backed up.
