Download Video from Canon ZR85 camcorder

I have canon ZR85 handycam which has a miniDV casette. I dont have the suitable cable to download the video from the casette. With the cable which came with the handycam I am only able to download the pictures. could anyone please help me in buying a suitable cable to download the video.

I don't know if you need the 4 to 4 pin or the 4 to 6 pin cable for your PC or Mac.

In short, you should hook up with firewire. Cards and cables are over at newegg.com aplenty.

I have the ZR90 and hook the supplied cable to:

DVC90 is an external Hi-Speed USB video transfer connector which easily connects to a desktop or laptop PC. (actually plugs right in to your USB port)

Its sold by pinnacle and I think it comes with the basic Studio software.
