Question

Download.com preferences not saving

Whenever I set the Download.com Installer setting on CNET to OFF, the settings won't save when I close my browser. Using Google Chrome 25 Beta, WIndows 7

The setting is cookie based...

It remembers your setting based on a cookie that is set in your browser once you have saved the preferences. So if you delete your browser cookies, the setting will be lost.

Also as Bob mentioned, you are using Chrome 25 Beta and I'm not too if it will work correctly with that browser at the moment.
