Question

Do I HAVE to upgrade to iOS 7?

by volvogirl / September 18, 2013 8:12 AM PDT

I'm old school, from way back to DOS. I don't use most of the features on my iPads. I like it simple and basic. I like it flat. I don't use facebook, twitter or any social media. Just go to a couple online sites/forums like here. I don't share or take pictures, etc. I don't multitask. One thing at a time. And you can tell I don't like change.

No you don't have to....

....however, some of your applications may eventually stop working properly if you are running an older iOS as new developments come available. You can keep your current OS as long as you don't do any major upgrades/updates.

whether all current apps are running under iOS 7. Could there be problems?

Sounds like the only apps you are using are those

In reply to: But I'm not sure

those that came with your iPad.

As those apps were written by Apple for the iOS that is currently running on your iPads and that the iOS 7 version of those apps were also written by Apple, you can be assured that they will run just fine.

I have found no problems with iOS 7 as yet
