DLP - Lamp light's but the picture is black

by dlange98 / July 28, 2009 9:06 AM PDT

I have a HLR5067WA dlp tv. When I power on the TV the lamp lights but the picture itself remains black. The green lamp indicator light on front blinks for about 30 seconds then all front lights are off (like normal). The tv then shuts itself off after minute or so. I like to know if this is a digital board issue or a dmd board issue.

I'm not able to determine serice issues without actually looking at the unit. Perhaps someone in the forum may have some suggestions on that, but I can't diagnose these issues, unfortunately.
