Display of Programs

by robroyzz / February 10, 2013 4:06 AM PST

The display from START>ALL PROGRAMS shows 4 columns of 33 items each and the last column only shows half the info. I have at least 132 (33X4) installed programs and more. Can I narrow the column width to see all my programs? It looks like half the width would do nicely.
I have moved many apps into folders and put each folder shortcut as toolbars so I click on the little quote mark and can see all apps and select the individual app I want.

Find the longer items and rename then to shorter names then the columns shrink and let you have more.

Was there any reason you could not use a folder or group these apps?

Thank you Mr. Proffitt. Worked like a charm. I have been living with the wide columns for years. It's a new day for me.

I now know I have 140 programs installed (4X33+8) and the last column can contain another 25 If I want.

Kudos to you.
