Dell Vostro 1500 help - recording with line-in

by drjordan / February 18, 2008 12:18 AM PST

I want to record via my line-in using Audacity. I have done the same thing with my PC, but everytime I try to record on my laptop, it uses the microphone in the laptop (didn't even know it had one) instead of the line-in. How do I turn the microphone off and use Audacity to record the signal going into the line-in?

Thanks.
