Please share the status of the power button light on the desktop tower.
When the screen goes black, check if the Caps Lock key responds.
Also, please go to My Profile, click E-Mail and share the system's Service tag.

I bought a Dell Computer in October. It worked for 3 weeks and then my monitor would come on with the "acer" logo then the screen went black saying no signal. I called DELL as I have the full blown warranty and they sent out a technician that replace the motherboard. It worked for 2 days, then this past Saturday the screen froze and went black and has been black ever since. I brought my monitor in to work to see if that was the problem and I am actually using it right now to type this so yes, it is the computer. Some dell rep is supposedly working on my "case" . I have no clue what this means. Does anyone have any other ideas of what to replace?? This is very very discouraging
