Deep;y disappointed if true

by SkyWarpTFB / January 12, 2013 12:29 PM PST

I read on another website that CBS will not allow CNET to give awards or even review the Dish hopper. If this is true I will have lost my over 15 years of respect for CNET and will no longer trust ANY of it's reviews of any product. I will still look to see what user say but I will not be able to trust what any CNET editors or any employee of CNET has to say about any technology.

I am disappointed too. CNET needs to make money, but CBS trumping and controller editorial decisions, which really amounted to censorship despite belated-disclosure, is disappointing.

If what I have heard about CBS' meddling with the CES / CNET award, then all I can add is Good by TechTracker, good by CNET. Deleting it all from my laptop!

Goodbye Cnet

I have been using your site for many years but never again. I am just one person but the average bad experience will make someone tell at least 10 people of that bad experience. I know that while I will not go out out of my way to tell people about the influence you use in rating products over the span of my life it will be much more then 10 people that will be certain.
