Cross-References in InDesign

by wiiownzzz / July 19, 2006 8:03 AM PDT

Hi all,

I'm researching DTP software, and considering purchasing InDesign. It appears to suit my needs perfectly - except for one thing.

I haven't been able to find any evidence that it is possible to cross-reference in InDesign (CS2 or other). I need to be able to cross-reference sections, chapters, pages, etc.

Can anyone tell me if it is in fact possible to cross-reference in InDesign? (Apart from simple indexes and tables of contents?)

Thankyou in advance!
