converting audible book book.aa files to MP3 format

by bigdaddya / November 16, 2006 5:18 AM PST

I purchased 2 audio books from audible.com but unfortunately my S1MP3 player won't play files with the .aa extension. How do I convert these files to MP3 files in order to listen to the books?

Unprotecting Audiobooks

Just got SoundTaxi software and think it is just great.
Got a new mp3 player for the weekend and was able to convert 20 Audible audiobooks to unprotected mp3's for my player! Very exited about the product. http://www.soundtaxi.info

How fast is SoundTaxi?

Does a 9-hour book take a full nine hours to copy into mp3 format, or were you able to do it faster? I couldn't get Total Recorder to do an accelerated copy on long audiobooks.

The program is likely 4x fast when converting audiobooks.
