For one hobbyist photographer, I know one software that maybe is your need, it is simple and free, that is photo! editor, it enables you to perform a variety of popular photo editing functions on your images. You can adjust or correct colors, remove red-eye effects, remove JPEG artifacts, crop images to specific proportions and more.
I am a hobbyist photographer at best and have tried many of the free and cheaper editing programs but would like to have Photoshop. I can't justify a big expense but I am not sure what I need. I see Photoshop, Elements 6, CS3, etc. Do I need one to build on if so which one? I don't want to buy 3 or 4 different titles.
My needs are basis editing, lighting, clone tool, etc. I also want the fun side to be able to "photoshop" someones head on another body too, lol.
Hobbyist, amateur, basic function needs.........which one is for me?
Thanks for any clarification.
