This is just a stab in the dark, but sometimes I find myself overlooking a SAVE button. When I do, whatever I've changed works until the next time I boot, and then it reverts to the old setting. I'd double check to make sure that's not what's happening. If not, I'd recommending contacting Asus.
I was browsing the internet on my laptop a few days ago when suddenly a little box appeared on my screen about "Gamma Adjustment" or something along those lines and my screen afterwards turned a yellowish color. I'm not sure if I accidently hit a button or what.
I can "fix" the problem by going into Control Panel>Appearance and Personalization>Display>Calibrate Color. All I do is choose to Calibrate my color, I go through all the steps (I just keep pressing next actually) and the yellow color goes away and my screen looks normal again.
However the problem is every time I turn my computer back on after shutting it down or bring it back from hibernation/sleep mode the screen is yellow once again.
I have to calibrate the color every single day. The yellow color always returns back.
Does anyone know what happened and what I can do to permanently fix this issue?
I've got an Asus G74 laptop if it helps.
