Tried to download Combofix from CNET and McAfee blocked due to detected Trojan virus. Has anyone else had this problem?

Likely a false positive...
by John.Wilkinson / February 1, 2011 2:46 PM PST

McAfee does flag it as a virus, but all other major scanners, with the exception of Sophos, give it a clean bill of health. Thus, given that combined with the program's popularity and low complaint ratio, I'd say it is most likely a false positive, a mistake on McAfee's part. Regardless, exercising caution is always a good idea when a questionable flag is raised.

Thank you, John. I guess I'll try the download again after disabling McAfee.
