Combine presentations in PowerPoint 2007

I need to combine two separate PowerPoint Presentations into one in PowerPoint 2007.

Both of the PowerPoints are in the 2003 format, while I use PowerPoint 2007.

I was wondering how I could do this.

Using 2003 to combine them is not an option. I appreciate any help.

In PPT 2003, I'd import the second into the first.

By using Insert>Slides from another file.

So in 2007 I would create a new empty presentation and find the equivalent of the above command.

Once they're brought into PPT 2007....save as 2007 PPT

and then combine.

Open each of them in the 'Slide Sorter View' ...copy the slides in PPT-1 to PPT-2 ... rearrange as desired and save as PPT-3.

Combine presentations in PowerPoint 2007

To combine two presentations into one (and hence more than two) in Powerpoint 2007 follow this:

1. open the ppt that you want as your starting ppt
2. click below (in open area) the last slide in the left-hand-side thumbnail view of slides
3. click on the arrow on New Slide button under Home Menu
4. select the option of Reuse Slides
5. on the right-hand-side the Reuse Slides toolbar will open
6. Click on browse and select Browse File
7. browse your 2nd ppt, it will open all the thumbnails from your 2nd ppt
8. now you have two option either click each slide, this will only insert that slide. Or Right Click and select Insert All Slides option.
NOTE: Remember to Check the checkbox on bottom of Reuse Slides toolbar to keep the originaly style and formatting.
