Color Laser Printers

by dkaragozian / June 29, 2012 7:34 AM PDT

I'm considering a new Laser Printer - Color at that.

Don't need a high volume printer and was looking at teh HP CP1525 or maybe the M451.

CNET has a good review on the Dell 1350cnw.

Do you have any experience with either of these printers? Pros and Cons?

I liked CNET's review of the Dell 1350, but have never thought of a Dell printer in the past. As far as Lasers, HP has always seemed to be the printer of choice, but maybe not any more.

They both seem to be pretty compatible as far as what they can do, but the reviews seem to indicate the the print quality could be better with the Dell.

Toner cost?

Price? The HP can be purchased for about $250. The Dell? Amazon has it for $180 or through Dell at $199.

Before I pull the trigger on the Dell, is there anything that says that the HP is the better choice/printer even if it's a little more expensive?

You didn't write what you would be printing.

I've seen folk turn blue when they discover the photo output quality vs. inkjets. Be sure that you know what you want to print.

not for photos

I'm not thinking about photos. Small business. General business purposes. Graphics. Colorado printing where needed.

Time for print samples.

Some try to use this for catalogs and well, the color controls are usually not that good. My advice? Get print samples.
