CNET Slipping (.EXE) in their downloads?

I just want to say I have used CNET/Download.Com for years and now you guys are slipping exe's in my download or I need to download your exe to get the file I want. Thats just unacceptable and I will never recommend tis site to anyone ever again! Can you tell me whats the benifit of that besides you being able to throw adds in my face... ****

There is no slipping in going on. It's very clear they added it and they don't hide the fact.

I id not see the direct link, I feel a lil better knowing that. I am so used to just using their big DOWNLOAD button I guess I missed it. What would be nice is to put the big download button to the direct link and the smaller link to the one with the "downloader" in that Wink

There's a reason I wrote "direct download" in lower case. It's easy to miss.
