Question

Chromebook Not Connecting to Wifi

by camillavilla / December 6, 2011 10:12 AM PST

My Samsung Chromebook is connected to my network, but it will not connect to the internet. It is not a problem of the router/modem (we have tested this theory), but I'm wondering if my settings are jacked up on the CB? What settings do my Chromebook need to be set to? I called Samsung but they're so fast to depo the laptop, I can't even try to fix it over the phone. So I figure before I send it in, maybe someone else has had this problem.

Let's start with a test. Does it connect proper at free wifi hot spots?

No.

No, it does not. Which is why I think it's either a setting I need to change in the Chromebook or something is effed up. -.- Frustrating lol

Give Samsung a call then arrange for exchange.

In reply to: No.

I would not accept repair on a new device. Just my thought on the matter.
