Your camera has the date feature but you have to have it turned-on at the time you take the photos.
And you can only turn it on if your camera is set to photo size of 1600 x 1200.
That is explained in the Camera User Guide on pages 54 and 55.
I did find a program that will print the Date (not the time) on the photo. It gets the date from the EXIF information that in embedded in all digital photos.
I have a Canon PowerShot A95. I am fighting a parking ticket and need to print out my pictures with the date and time on them. I cannot figure out how to do this. I have taken my photo card to the kiosks at CVS, and they can't figure it out. I have read the manual and used the "order prints" menu on my camera - still no date on the pictures. Any other ideas??
