We had similar error reported a few weeks ago, please check our AVG TOP 5 weekly issues - April 23, 2012 article (4th issue).
In case the issue still persists, please upload freshly gathered files in ZIP file to favorite online storage or our AVG FTP server as described in this How-To article, and provide us with link (or name in case of FTP) to mentioned file.
I've had AVG for a few weeks without a problem. Now I'm getting an error message that I have a General Update error after pressing the update button. I've copied the two recommended log files to a ZIP file, but don't see how to copy to or attach to a post.
