Cannot turn off subtitles on Panasonic TV

by Cyberscot2002 / February 3, 2013 2:47 AM PST

Hi, I have a Panasonic TX-L42E30B TV and the remote control has just stopped working. I've bought a univeral remote control which does operate the TV fine apart from the fact I can't turn off the subtitles.

I've been through every menu I can find but can't get rid of them and they're driving me crazy- any help much appreciated.

I'd prefer not to have to order a replacement of the original but realise I may have to.
