Cannot connect my digital camera to pc

by tobymcgrail / April 30, 2011 11:13 PM PDT

The digital camera I have is a Contax U4R Digital (Yes I am aware how old this is).
The PC I am on is a Packard Bell IMEDIA A3317 with Vista.
When I plug my camera into the computer via the USB slot the camera says it has gone into PC mode however nothing is found on the PC. I've looked online and it seems this camera was not made to support Vista, but does anyone know a way that I can connect it?

It just randomly fixed itself and connected after I had left it in for 10 minutes.
