Do as you want. I use the ROUTE ADD command. Here's an example.
Hint, skip to the examples.
I want to be able to set my IP address so I can communicate with an embedded computer I am programming. To do this I select Start | Control Panel | Network Connections and on the right side is displayed Local Area Connection 2, my only network connection. Nothing else is displayed. I right click on LAC2 and nothing. The Network Connections window freezes and will no longer respond to anything.
This is Windows XP Professional with SP2, running on a Compaq computer with an Intel process and 512 Meg of memory.
Thanks for your time
