by CindyLooWhoo / October 22, 2009 4:02 AM PDT

Bought new computer-VISTA (hate it)but...can't get my hotmail to sync because vista doesn't support hotmail - it says to download WindowsLive - so I did but I'm getting this error message anytime I try to email anything from the Internet. "The host 'smtp' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly.
Subject 'Emailing: Windows Live Hotmail', Account: 'pop3', Server: 'smtp', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D"
I REALLY WANT TO KEEP MY HOTMAIL & I email things from the Internet all the time - I'm doing "file-send-page by e-mail" & have also tried rt clk. anyone help??
