Can't insert tape into sony handycam

by jkesselman1 / July 13, 2009 3:57 AM PDT

i have a sony HDR-HC5 handycam. i cant get a tape to load. i have switched to try different tapes, but nothing will go down/load. the tape that was in originally no longer will load/close. this happened once before, but somehow after turning it on and off, the tape went in. This time nothing seems to work. Any ideas? Is this common? I am not even sure how/where to get this fixed (although I am guessing it could end up being cheaper to buy a new one if i can't resolve this)?

Search youtube for "repair sony camcorder error code c:32:11" video by johnhanmyk. It's the shorter 2:40 second video. His fix works as I just did it 30 minutes ago, but now my camera is eating tape! I'm looking for a solution to this new issue.

Light bulbs you shouldn't buy

There are plenty of dimmable LED light bulbs, but make sure you don't buy the ones that flicker when you dial them down.
