Can Nook Touch be used in UK?

by MarkW64 / August 28, 2011 12:03 AM PDT

I'm new to these but I'm looking to buy an e-reader and the Nook Touch looks great but I understand B&N don't sell/deal with the UK. Will I be able to use it in the UK or will it restrict me to whatever books I load via my PC?

I don't want a tablet as I only want this for reading and don't want to use a backlit screen. That was why I was looking at the new Nook with e-ink rather than the Colour one.

These are all I see around here. But on travel, I see nothing but the iPad and various Kindles. (yes we own those.)

The Nook wifi is not limited to use in any country.

That was really helpful and has helped me make up my mind on buying the Nook.
