Sorry if I don't expand on the following.
1. The phone is already unlocked (at least here). But I can only use SIM cards that are international and not in my country. Of course this is fairly expensive.
2. The unlock fee may incur the difference from what you pay for a phone that is subsidized with a 2 year contract to the price you pay for a no-contract phone. I rarely see the unlock fee exceed this difference. It's not a ridiculous amount. Some can't wrap their head around this area.
Hi, i currently have 2 Iphone 3gs' (I am in the UK by the way, justthought I should mention that!) Anyway, my Iphone is locked to the 3 Network and I would like to know if it is possible to unlock it from 3 to use it with the O2 network, same as my son's? I had a Samsung Galaxy s ii for a month or so and managed to unlock that remotely using a code supplied but I cant seem to find this info regarding Iphone unlocking anywhere!I asked three if it was possible but they said although it is possible, it may not work and they charge a ridiculous fee for doing it! Anybody have any suggestions, apparently it is the 3 network that is hard to unlock but, like i said,i did unlock the Galaxy and it was locked to three! I donot mind paying but not a ridiculous price!
