Calling all ZEN MP3 owners (current and previous)!

by mfenton100 / July 15, 2006 4:16 AM PDT

Do you own or have you ever owned either a Zen Vision:M (30gb) or Zen Micro (8gb)? I need honest reviews on these products. Please tell me about all your experiences, both good and bad.

Any non-iPod suggestions are welcome as well.

I own the Zen Vision: M
by woohoo22 / July 15, 2006 6:32 AM PDT

and it's just a pleasure to use. simple, intuitive menu system, great sound, beautiful screen.

main complaint is 14 hours for audio battery life isn't that good. aside from that, it's great.

looking for some full, in-depth reviews?

they have full reviews on the ZVM and ZMP

In reply to: Zen vision: M

the zvm is quite thick and the battery life for audio isnt much better than most other players on the market, but the screen is amazingly clear, and the interface is easy to use.
considering all the other mp3's that i previously used were sony's it is kind of easy to see why i feel the battery life is horrible.
the audio quality is great as long as you have decent headphones.
as for the pocket situation, it somewhat bulges out, but not too badly mainly depending on what type of pants you wear.
it is easy to hold... and it feels quite solid
