Buying a computer

Okay I need a computer that's good for surfing the web, doing school work, downloading music and videos from itunes, video chatting such as on oovoo or skype, using microsoft office, and I need much storage room to keep all my music and videos, how much should I spend on a computer and what kind of proccesor is best for me? It will also be helpful if you reccomended a specific computer. thank you

Get a nice top of the line Apple MacBook Pro.

At the office we are testing an Asus K55N that you see on amazon, newegg for about 380. One machine was bumped to 8GB (20 bucks?) and another was fitted with 16GB RAM (120bucks) and a 1TB Hybrid HDD (99 bucks) so for not much you can get a respectable laptop.

Parting tip. Be sure to look at Classic Shell (free) if you feel the need for it on Windows 8.

Was far less than that. I was impressed enough to get one for my son and he says it's faster than his old (2010) Asus ROG G51j.
