Is there any way to load another browser on the Blackberry 8820?
The built-in browser seems clunky.

Is there a Firefox for BB?

Opera Mini is a good choice. Just punch in opera mini on your hand held browser, download and you're ready to browse. The great thing about opera is that it displays the whole web page as you would see it on your computer and allows you to zoom into various sections of the web page.

Alternate Browser For Blackberries

Just checked the opera web site and there is not one listed for the BlackBerry Storm 9500.
Any one know if one of the ones listed work on a Storm 9500?

Opera Minifor BB 8820
by Rick3904 / March 1, 2009 5:12 AM PST

I'm having a problem. I went to the Opera site and had it send me a text message to set it up.
I never got the text message.
Then later I tried it again, but the Opera site said something like "message not sent, a message was sent to this number earlier".

I've tried downloading it directly on the phone, didn't work.

I'm going to keep trying but if anyone has any ideas, please post them.
My carrier is AT&T.

I have downloaded Opera Mini on my Curve 8330 and my son uses it on his Pearl. My other son uses it on his Samsung Instinct and we all love it. Either Google: Opera Mini or go to Opera.com to check it out.
