Never done it myself, but the download is free and there seems to be full instructions how to capture the bootsector to a bootsect.bin file.
I hope this helps.
I want to create a boot sector file, containing the boot sector of my boot disk C.
I need this file, called bootsect.bin, to use in creating a BartPE bootable CD.
I do not find it on my disk.
How can I get it or create it?
I downloaded the software, read all the explanations, and acted according to them. BUT I got an error saying the file bootsect.inf is not found on my computer.
I created a bootsect.inf file of floppy disk a:, but there is no explanation how to create bootsect.inf of Hard Disk C: (boot disk).
If I am not wrong, the bootsect.inf file should contain the boot sector of the boot disk, not floppy disk a:. The command: mkbt -c C: C:\bootsect.inf DOES NOT work!!!
Please try it yourself and see if I am right.
