Blue screen?

Blue screen-Physical dump , Wins HP ?

Will the numbers and letters after STOP: identify the problem (bad driver(s), etc?

i.e.-0x0000008e(0xc0000005 0XBF8488A2, 0xA7C24 AE4, 0x00000000
88e2 instead of 88A2 in above

And have-Address BF8488A2 base at BF800000

Meant Wins. XP Home Edition.
Don't have Symantec.
The other link led to me downloading Microsoft Security Essentials=ran scan=no detected problems.
I keep thinking it is a bad driver but how to identify?
