BlackBerry Music Applications?

by BrianTBT / March 31, 2009 2:31 AM PDT

So, I just got my new BlackBerry Bold but am wondering if anyone knows of any music applications I can download on it? (esp. free ones!! haha) I'm more of the rock music type guy and don't want anything that is only pop music or rap or whatever.

Also, please explain how to get them on my device..I'm not sure if you can download them without connecting the wire to my computer or not? Is there a store that I can find a bunch of them on?

Slacker Radio
It is a beautiful product.
Streaming cellular or WiFi music "channels", and, for the Blackberry Bold, station caching.
You select a station from the menu, or while you are listening to it, and then later, USB-connected to a PC, download 100 songs to the Blackberry SD Media card.
You can then play the cached stations with no cell or WiFi connection.

A Slacker web page or dedicated PC player lets you get the same stations on your PC. It has customization of stations, or selection of an artist, that becomes a station of similar artists.

Free, with minimal restrictions, or $3.99 per month.

Not only can you add any files from your music library, you can also save your videos or downloaded videos from the web to your Blackberry. It's free, you don't need to buy the premium version.
