bios color change

motherboard: msi 880g-e45
bios up to date

when i push ctrl + f3 the background in the bios changes from blue to black is this jsut an easter egg or are there internal changes because i can't find any new options when i do this.

more info would be appreciated

It's been in many BIOS before and if there is a sad development in PCs it's the move to reduce documentation. My advice is to stop buying products that the maker does not answer questions about.

http://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=42743.0 is from almost a decade ago and shows that this is a rather old feature. It is not an easter egg but as time went on, the key to do this did change as well as the makers cutback on documentation.
