Best way to use your new external hard drive?

by jlear44 / February 26, 2009 10:49 PM PST

I just purchased a Fantom 1 TB external hard drive. I spend the winter in Florida and have a different computer there. I wanted an easy way to keep my Arkansas & Florida computers in sync. I formated the drive and then backed up everything I could think of into the external drive.
Later my computer ask me if I wanted to use the new drive to backup and recovery for my computer. I said yes, and the Fantom then made a complete backup of my C Drive.
My question is do I need all the back up folders I orginally made on the external drive, or is the recovery all I really need? When I return to Arkansas what is the easiest way to sync to two computers?
