Best Tablets Out There.....

by vaioroxio / April 28, 2013 2:39 AM PDT

Hi all,
just a question about tablets!!! I'm considering buying one & I can't seem to find one I like.

Ideally I looking for something I can read comics on, watch video files & browse the net.

Also I'd like to be able to expand it's memory by means of a micro Sd card, etc.

Any suggestions gladly accepted!!

Cheers J.

Memory or storage?
by R. Proffitt Forum moderator / April 28, 2013 3:11 AM PDT

So far not one tablet has expandable memory. So far, memory in computers is that stuff that's attached to the CPU or "ram" so let's be crystal clear about that.

Nod to the front runners such as the Nexus 10 and Asus Transformer. But why not a laptop? Cheaper and without the usual limitations.

Take a look a Acer's Iconia 110A w/ expandable memory and camera. I am very pleased with mine. For a small (7"), low end price range tablet w/ Acer's reliable tech support, it does more that I expected w/out comparing it to a mini iPad.
