by Ok2BHuman / November 23, 2012 4:01 AM PST

Hi,

Maybe someone could tell me if I made a good buy going by the specs....yes, I need a man's expertise here :). Thank you!

TAKE THIS TV BACK

You will need to go into the picture options menu and turn the automotion plus (http://news.cnet.com/8301-33620_3-57410231-278/the-soap-opera-effect-when-your-tv-tries-to-be-smarter-than-you/) feature off EVERY time you turn he thing on, this is Samsugs way of FORCING you use their garbage proprietary software, which ruins the picture. I watch a golf tournament and it is a joke - it gives a golf swing look a tracer effect, and makes all your other shows look like soap opera.

I cannot believe these guys even tried to foist this onto the american public, I have taken three Samsung TV's back on the last 2 months and this is going to be the third. Perhaps if more people start doing this they may start listening.

Sorry to hear that you have had trouble with this model. I will take a look at the setting you mentioned but we have had no problems with our television at all. We have found it to be a real joy to watch and it clear and just incredible.

We have never owned a flat screen before. We are over th moon pleased with it, however. We haven't experienced any problems with it yet. Thank you for the reply and the url..I will take a peek. We got a great surround sound system with it as well and it's like being in a theater for us now.

I hope that you get the problems resolved with your television.

It can be a pain to not get what you pay for. I wish you only the best.

Christine
