Question

Best newest laptop not an Apple

by cialili1994 / February 16, 2013 6:39 AM PST

I've had Windows based computers for years and wish to stay with them. I've always had desktops and am now going to purchase a laptop.

I use my computer for 12-15 hours a day. I will be using this new laptop to web design using software programs from Adobe and Microsoft. I also will want to do gaming.

1. Dell XPS 15 comes up a lot in best of reviews. I'm okay with Dell so how do you feel about it. I will of course buy the top of the line configuration. Any suggestion of places to upgrade will be so appreciated.
2. Is there another laptop you would suggest that is comparable or better?
Thanks for the help.

But no one goes for more than 8 hours. So sure, why not that one? You didn't tell what made you not pull the trigger.

Nod to other makes? Sony, Samsung, Panasonic ToughBooks?

Not sure which laptop I'm buying just thought The Dell XPS 15 was a good enough computer to start comparisons from a company that I've owned computers from.
Buying one in 3 weeks hoping to get advice and opinions to help from this decision.
Please feel free to make any and all suggestions.

Thanks for the reply.
