Question

Best earphone for google nexus s

by raghavan20 / April 13, 2013 9:14 AM PDT

Hello,

Recently my default ear piece that came with my phone broke and for month, I have been trying to find a compatible decent-quality earphone with mic that works with my Samsung Google Nexus S i9020.

I thought once I found a right one and ordered but that one did not work so had to return it back. It is quite difficult even with Amazon reviews to figure out whether an earphone is compatible with your phone. It would be nice if there was a compatibility matrix for earphones and mobile models.

Added to that problem, most earphone manufacturers or even phone manufactures do not mention whether a particular model is of CITA or OTMP?

Do you guys suggest any earphones or any method on how to go about searching for an android-compatible earphone?

Sorry but can you be more clear?

At the office we have over a dozen phones and have no issue swapping a earphone among them. I can't see where the i9020 is any different.

Now to prevent spammers from flooding this question again, I've declared it a link free post.

You might try just going on ebay, I found a load of manufacture ones (htc, samsung, sony etc). People who don't want them seem to just bung them up and mostly dont put a reserve. You know they'll work and unless you're using your phone for mad production, I doubt you'll notice Silly

Sorry for a bit of off-topic, but what's CITA or OTMP? And how is this parameter applicable to earphones?
