I can't guess if the owner updated drivers with Microsoft's update driver or Windows Update. That's not a good way and can result in this machine's issue. Without a story and more I can't suggest any quick fix.
I have 2 Belkin memory sticks (one fairly old, one brand new) and they are not being recognized on my computer (Lenovo H330)
When plugged in my computer makes the notification sound to say that it has found it, but it either doesn't show up in My Computer, or it does but can't be accessed.
The old one I had previously used with no problems. When the problem started with it I bought the new one - which I am now having the same problem with. I also have a Kingston USB that works fine.
The strange thing is that if I start up my computer with one of the memory sticks already plugged in - they will work absolutely fine. As do USB cables to iPod/iPad/Smartphone.
Any ideas on how I can get these working properly please?
